Recently, an article in Science Magazine described the recent discovery of Australopithecus anamensis in Ethiopia will change what we currently understand about ancient humans.
Shahna Arps, from the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Toledo, will discuss major trends in hominin evolution and insights from the field of biological anthropology. She will describe past species that are closely related to modern humans and explain how new scientific discoveries are influencing models of human evolution.
