Secular Humanists of Western Lake Erie values people, emphasizes reason, and focuses on this world. We are a democratic, membership run organization with the purpose of providing a supportive, diverse, local community for humanists and other nontheists, while promoting ethical and reasonable secular world views through education, community service, outreach, activism, and social events. Our activities take place mainly in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
Membership: Open to all Humanists in substantial agreement with our principles.

Donations: We are always open to accepting donations. Help us educate the public about Humanism and build a humanist community by donating any amount you can. All donations are tax exempt.
You can also support us by buying items on our wish list and sending to us or arranging to drop them off.
Governance: SHoWLE is operated democratically by the membership of the group. We have a set of Bylaws that govern our group. Learn more about our Executive officers and Board of Directors.
