This meet­ing is FREE and open to the pub­lic. We will be in Community Room A

SHoWLE will be cel­e­brat­ing the Winter Solstice with a potluck style get togeth­er. Bring a dish to share. There will be a dish sign up in the com­ing months so we lim­it dupli­ca­tion. We plan to have door prizes to win and some kind of enter­tain­ment. This event will be open to the pub­lic.

Yes, Gloria Steinem has agreed to vis­it with us dur­ing the potluck via Zoom.

*Note* Due to our con­tract with the speak­er, we won’t be able to make the Zoom event avail­able to view­ers not at the event loca­tion. We won’t be livestream­ing the event either. Sorry for the incon­ve­nience.

Potluck Food Sign-up: In order to increase the vari­ety of food shared at the event we have set­up a sign-up sheet on a 3rd par­ty web­site. If you have issues using the app online, feel free to send your infor­ma­tion to Doug at 567–215‑2694 or sub­mit it using our con­tact form.

Please feel free to bring the dish(es) of your choice in what­ev­er quan­ti­ty you pre­fer. All quan­ti­ties and descrip­tions are for ref­er­ence only and/or to sat­is­fy the para­me­ters set by the app. We are also ask­ing for vol­un­teers to help set­up or tear down the day of the event.

SHoWLE will pro­vide water, soda and cof­fee.

Alcohol is per­mit­ted on-site, but atten­dees are respon­si­ble for pro­vid­ing this option (byob).

We are expect­ing to have 30 peo­ple attend.

Join us in the audi­to­ri­um of the West Toledo Branch Library for an after­noon watch­ing Transformers One and nosh­ing on FREE PIZZA and oth­er snacks.

We will be in the audi­to­ri­um, in the base­ment.

This is event is FREE and open to the pub­lic. While this is a kid focused event, par­ents and/or care­givers are wel­come to join us too.
