Closing SHoWLE’s Meetup Group

A deci­sion was made to close our Meetup.com account. It will be closed by June 24th. There are no plans to sched­ule any addi­tion­al events on Meetup before June 24th.

We thank all who fol­lowed our page and we thank the few who actu­al­ly attend­ed our events from the blurbs on Meetup.

We are a chapter of the American Humanist Association

Membership is open to all Humanists in substantial agreement with our principles.

    Spend one last Saturday before the grind of school starts up. SHoWLE is host­ing a movie and FREE PIZZA and oth­er snacks in the audi­to­ri­um of the West Toledo Branch Library

    This free event is aimed at kids but we wel­come fam­i­lies and care givers to join us as well. The audi­to­ri­um is in the base­ment of the build­ing.

    We will be show­ing the new live action ver­sion of Lilo & Stitch. Rated PG. A lone­ly Hawaiian girl befriends a run­away alien, help­ing to mend her frag­ment­ed fam­i­ly.

    We will be in the Auditorium in the base­ment.

    Programs like this are fund­ed by donors who want to help build a com­mu­ni­ty though com­pas­sion and rea­son for a bet­ter tomor­row. If you would like to donate to this project click here.
