  • Summer Solstice Picnic 2025

    Summer Solstice Picnic 2025

    June 21, 2025  11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Ottawa Park Liz Pearson Shelter, 2301 Gunckel Blvd, Toledo, Ohio, 43606, United States

Join us on the Summer Solstice for our annual picnic. It will be potluck style — bring a dish to share. We will have a hot grill if you wish to cook some food and we will provide water and soft drinks as well as some condiments.

We will be at Ottawa Park using the Liz Pearson Shelter which is off Kenwood Blvd. Although the scheduled time is 11 am to 2 pm we have shelter reserved all day so bring some toys and games to share and have a good time. There is a playground next to the shelter and trails to hike if you need to walk off your food.

We have a sign-up form so you can let us know what you plan to bring. This is a potluck so feel free to bring a dish to share. We will have a charcoal fire if you would like to grill something. There is no set types of food allowed this is just to inform people what is being brought to avoid duplicates. We will have some limited hamburgers and hot dogs you can cook up and we will be providing plates and utensils if needed
