Your Budget Tips

In the current economy, it is a struggle to pay for things like gas and food in particular. Some of us are able to economize and still feed our families and do other things we need to do. The Secular Humanists of Western Lake Erie would like to collect a list of hints and tips people can use to help stretch their budgets.

If you would like to share a hint and/or tip, please fill out the following form. You can allow us to attach your name to the tip or you can submit it anonymously. We will collect them and then create a page on our website to share them.

Here is an example of what we are looking for:

Douglas, SHoWLE President offers that if you shop at a major grocery chain join their shopper loyalty program. In some cases you can accumulate points to get cents off gasoline on your next fill-up and with a place like Kroger you can donate the value of your purchases to a non-profit like SHoWLE. Stores also have special pricing and discounts for loyalty card members.

You don’t need to be a member to submit a tip and if you aren’t on our contact list currently, submitting a tip won’t add you to our list unless you check that box.
