Share Your Hopes for the Coming Year

One of the high­lights of our 2025 Winter Solstice Soiree was SHoWLE board mem­ber Derek giv­ing a pre­sen­ta­tion about the sol­stice and what it means for Humanists. He stat­ed that “sol­stice is a time for reflec­tion and renew­al.”

Toward the end of the talk he asked par­tic­i­pants to “share their hopes for the com­ing year and to cel­e­brate the resilience and cre­ativ­i­ty of human­i­ty.”

Although we weren’t able to real­ly get into this point, we offer the com­ment sec­tion of this blog post for read­ers, strangers and mem­bers alike to share your hopes for the com­ing year and to cel­e­brate the resilience and cre­ativ­i­ty of human­i­ty.
