2020 Board Nominations Now Open

SHoWLE is open­ing nom­i­na­tions for our Board of Directors.

According to our Bylaws we are allowed to have up to sev­en (7) Board mem­bers who meet between busi­ness meet­ings to oper­ate the group, devel­op and approve bud­gets, and elect offi­cers for the group.

Terms for three seats is two years and the oth­er four are one year terms this elec­tion. This year the cur­rent four mem­bers have indi­cat­ed they are return­ing for the 2nd year of their term so three seats are open this elec­tion.

There is one require­ment and a cou­ple of expec­ta­tions to be a Board mem­ber.

1. Be a vot­ing mem­ber in good stand­ing — have your dues paid
2. Able to give at least 2 hours a month for Board meet­ings and be able to attend at least one gen­er­al meet­ing or event a month
3. Be will­ing to donate addi­tion­al time and mon­ey to fur­ther the mis­sion of the group as need­ed.

Board elec­tions will take place online October 5th through October 9th and the Board terms will start on November 1, 2020.
